Trust and Church volunteers over the past few weeks have been busy running raffles to raise money for the build of the community house. The tickets have been sold in the foyer of New World Wanaka. The winners of this latest Christmas raffle are: First prize: Kaz VHP, second prize: Jill Shaw and third prize: Stacey McDonald.
The two separate raffles have raised over $2,000
A benefit of holding the raffles has been to talk with a wide variety of people, answer queries and show off the plans of the Community House. Myths have been dispelled, ideas suggested and huge support felt from a wide cross section of the community.
Thanks to all of those who volunteered or donated goods for the raffle.
